Pick: MyPa Result: 3:0 Stake: 10/10 Odds: 1.40 Bookmaker: Globet vCash: No
Posted: May 22, 2006, 08:05
High time for MyPa to prove their quality after the bad start they have had. They lost the first two home games to Haka (1-0) and Tampere (2-0)but then managed an away 2-0 win over Lahti. My Pa are still without Helenius and Pukahainen (injured), but their rivals KuPS Kuopio have bigger problems with the squad and will miss 4 key players: Ikavalko, Szilagyi, Leetma, and Kinnaslampi. Defender Miranda is back fo MyPa. My Pa won all 5 encounters here since 2001: 4-0, 2-0, 2-0, 1-0, 3-0. Last season they also beat KuPS 3-0 away.

Pick: Tampere United Result: 2:2 Stake: 10/10 Odds: 1.40 Bookmaker: Globet vCash: No

No doubt high-flying Tampere are favourites here being on a 4-game winning streak in the 4 games they have played this season. The thing is IFK Marienhamn are not helpless at all and also have had a good start. They remain unbeaten on the road winning 3-1 to Jaro and drawing 2-2 to Vaasa. They will try to close the game and defend hard as their striker Vaiane will most probably miss the game due to injury. Tampere also have problems and will miss Risto Oyanen while Antti Hynynen is doubtful. Home side won 2-1 here last season.

Pick: Kilmarnock Result: 2:1 Stake: 5/10 Odds: 2.80 Bookmaker: Globet vCash: Yes
Posted: Apr 05, 2006, 13:25
This I have borrowed from BBC international:
Hibernian v Kilmarnock
Derek Riordan is one of several players nursing an injury
Hibs will miss Ivan Sproule (suspended) and long-term absentees Scott Brown, Guillaume Beuzelin and Dean Shiels.
Gary Smith, Chris Killen, Michael Stewart and Stephen Glass are also out injured, while Derek Riordan, Kevin Thomson, Steven Whittaker, Chris Hogg, and David Murphy all face late tests.
Kilmarnock midfielder Garry Hay returns from suspension as the visitors aim to pull away from fifth-placed Hibs.
But Eric Skora, Rhian Dodds and David Lilley are all still injured.
With so many players missing, Hibs manager Tony Mowbray has called up teenagers Darren Smith, Lewis Stevenson and Sean Lynch, who needs to be registered and given a squad number.
Mowbray must also decide whether to stick with goalkeeper Zbigniew Malkowski or give Simon Brown the gloves.
The Polish 'keeper had a very poor match in the Scottish Cup semi-final loss to Hearts on Sunday.
A lot off players are missing in Hibernian and it will be trouble for them.
Away win but Odds are going down down fast !!

Birmingham (from): Maik Taylor, Tebily, Melchiot, Martin Taylor, Cunningham, Sadler, Pennant, Johnson, Butt, Clemence, Campbell, Heskey, Vaesen, Latka, Lazaridis, Forssell, Kilkenny, Sutton, Izzet, Dunn, Upson.
Bolton (from): Jaaskelainen, O'Brien, Hunt, Jaidi, Ben Haim, N'Gotty, Gardner, Giannakopoulos, Faye, Okocha, Speed, Nolan, Davies, Vaz Te, Diouf, Pedersen, Walker, Nakata, Borgetti.
Birmingham had a great result on the weekend against Chelsea 0-0 which some people could say means they are on the up. I think otherwise after watching them get humiliated against Liverpool and Manchester City manager Bruce should call it a day as he does not have what it takes to suceed as a manager. They will have trouble stopping an attacking Bolton side from scoring after all Bolton have only failed to score in 1 of there last 8 away games chich means Birmingham will have to score at least 2 to win and the last time they scored more than 1 goal at home in the premiership was back in January.
Bolton on the other hand have a very strong side and on there day could beat any team in the league. In this game I think whoever controls the midfield will win the game and with the likes of Stelios, Speed and Okocha I think Bolton will be too good and take the 3 points home.

Pick: OVER 2.5 Result: 2:4 Stake: 10/10 Odds: 1.85 Bookmaker: Globet vCash: No
Posted: Mar 18, 2006, 11:32
This pick is coming from the teams news.
As i read, Portsmouth is goind to Upton Park with full attack system in order to get another important victory.
Team News from BBC.co.uk/sport
West Ham will be without keeper Shaka Hislop (hamstring), so either Stephen Bywater or Jimmy Walker will start.
Boss Alan Pardew may rest players with an FA Cup tie just two days later, but Nigel Reo-Coker (illness) should play.
Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp will give Argentine playmaker Andres D'Alessandro a key role behind strikers Lomana LuaLua and Svetoslav Todorov.
Gary O'Neil has overcome an ankle injury to continue in midfield, while defender Noe Pamarot could return.
I believe that we will watch a high entertaining. West ham can play great football and Portsmouth will help for that. I predict score like 3-1, 2-2, 4-2.
Anyway the game is over 2,5 for me.
Good Luck

Pick: Inter Result: 1:0 Stake: 10/10 Odds: 1.40 Bookmaker: Globet vCash: No
Posted: Mar 13, 2006, 17:13
Adriano was back to goal scoring on Saturday after an absence of eleven consecutive games. He had been out of the last two Inter Serie A matches due to suspension and the rest seems to have done him well. He was better at interacting with his team mates and helped a lot in the team??™s attacks. It may have been due to the return to Recoba as well, who in my opinion is the best partner for a player like Adriano.
Additionally, it was also the day of Veron??™s return from injury. His midfield work and passing is indispensable to an Inter side which wants to play fluid and fast football. All of these weapons will be fielded against Ajax on Tuesday in a quest for the final place in the Champions League quarter finals.
Inter??™s luck at having players returning for the tie is not complemented by that of Ajax. In fact they will still be tackling another injury crisis for this season, as has been all throughout this year??™s campaign. Sneijder, Heitinga, Grygera, Galasek, Mitea, Vermeer and Manucharyan are all sidelined.
In such an emergency, even though they did hold Dutch champions PSV to a draw at the Ajax Arena this weekend ??“ a game in which they would have also spent a lot of energies, which due to the injuries cannot be made up for ??“ and with a negative away record at the San Siro, they cannot hope for anything but to manage out without being bashed by the newly rediscovered Inter team.

Both teams are coming from champions league matches. Arsenal qualify against Real Madrid and Liverpool eliminated from Benfica.
Very important match for both teams.
The feeling in Arsenal is great these days. Gunners were really imperssive against Real with Henry and Hleb to produse an incretible perfomance. I believe this was the true Arsenal and now they will try to improved in Premiership in order to finish in top 4. Last week they destroyed 4-0 Fulham and now they will try the best against Liverpool.
Liverpool was disapointing against Benfica and they said goodbye from Champions League. I watched the game on TV and i have to say that the attacking problem of reds was the main reason.
In Premiership, Liverpool has the same problem but Rafa Benitez's team has find the solution. The win the matches with 1-0.
Anyway, Highbury is the next stop for Reds and i think that will see another one "under" match. Liverpool has problems in goalscoring but dont forget, they have strong defence.
I think Arsenal will beat 1-0.
Good Luck

Pick: Panathinaikos Result: 0-1 Stake: 5/10 Odds: 2.00 Bookmaker: Globet vCash: Yes
Posted: Mar 11, 2006, 07:50
Last week Panathinaikos was real Panathinaikos. For first time this season they play great football and beat deservly 1-0 AEK Athens. In reality, the score dont say the truth cause greens have many chances for more goals.
Anyway, that was a very important win cause now Panathinaikos has the same points as AEK amd more chances to finish 2nd and play again at champions league. Just to mention that few weeks before, AEK has 9 more points from PAO. Offcourse no one can speak for championship cause Olympiakos are marching for it.
Panathinaikos has another important and difficult match but some facts are very helpful for greens.
1st) PAOK, 6th with 31 points, isnt in good shape. They have only 1 win in the last six games and now they face to end the season without to gain a european ticket.
2nd) Against Olympiakos, PAOK's fans made many ungly things after the 2nd goal of away team and the FA panished the team to play 2 matches without fans. So Suturday, touba stadium will be empty.
3rd) PAOK has many financial problems and fans demant from Presidend, Giannis Goumenos to sell the club
4rd) Dumitru Ntumitrescu has a very important absent. The captain of greek national team, Thodoris Zagorakis is suspended and very difficult to find a good replacement.
I believe that Panathinaikos (even without in form Kosta Charalabidi) will beat PAOK. They have greater motivation (champions league) and are with super mentality.
Away win for me.
